Faculty Description

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in a healthy lifestyle, fitness and beauty care in Poland. The role of modern biochemical, chemical and medical solutions in maintaining a healthy look is growing

aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery and modern cosmetic technologies are used more widely than before. The cosmetic treatments performed these days are much more complex than the ones from a couple of years ago, which necessitates higher level education of qualified cosmetologists.Cosmetology (undergraduate studies: 6 semesters for full-time and part-time studies, possibility to continue education at the graduate level) is the Academy’s response to market requirements and the growing interest of potential students in this field. Taking into account future performance of our graduates in the job market, we have created a comprehensive curriculum with emphasis on a great number of practical courses.

Original study program

In 2013, the faculty of Cosmetology has been positively evaluated by the Polish Accreditation Committee in terms of: teaching staff, accomplished learning objectives, the system of their verification, the quality and concept of education, study programs, teaching facilities and requirements for the internal education quality assurance system for the faculty of Cosmetology.

Graduate profile

After graduation, apart from beauty salons, our students will also be able to work in modern wellness centers, spas, as well as production plants and companies that manufacture and distribute skin care and make-up cosmetics. Due to an interdisciplinary nature of teaching, graduates of cosmetology will be prepared to work with organizations involved in health promotion, as well as to start their own business, such as running a beauty salon or a wellness center.
