Faculty Description

The role of modern biochemical, chemical and medical solutions in maintaining a healthy look is increasing.

These changes, however, necessitate proper education at a higher level of qualified specialists in the field of dietetics.

Undergraduate studies in Dietetics (7 semesters either full-time or part-time) are the College’s response for the demands of the market as well as a growing interest in dietetics by potential students. Taking into account future performance of our graduates in the job market, we have created a comprehensive curriculum with emphasis on a great number of practical classes.

Original study program

The study program combines knowledge in the field of medical, chemical and dietetic sciences with practical professional skills required in contemporary market conditions.

Our curriculum covers all recommended areas included in the education standards for this faculty. In addition, the curriculum has been supplemented with courses that prepare for work in the chosen specialization. The content of these courses includes, among others, nutrition in sport and wellness, clinical dietetics and nutritional counseling.

The studies are practical in nature – a major part of workshops is conducted in specialist laboratories and classrooms, including a professionally equipped kitchen. An integral part of the study program are vocational trainings meant to allow the students to acquire the skills necessary for them to work in public and non-public health care facilities, mass catering facilities, establishments supplying food to hospitals or other institutions as well as consumer organizations.
